Iberostar announces reopening on Friday, 31 July

The Spanish hotel chain, Iberostar has announced it is gradually reopening its 45 hotels in nine countries around the world starting this Friday, 31 July 2020. The first hotels to reopen are in Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands in Spain in June.

The company reports that as health conditions permit, they have slowly been going ahead with other re-openings in Europe, Mexico and Jamaica. On Friday, 31 July, Iberostar in Bavaro will begin operations at the Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Bavaro.

These initial openings aim at families with children who have suffered from Covid-19 lockdown during the summer months. The Covid-19 has changed people’s lives around the world.

Iberostar is offering up to a 38% discount and free lodging for one child with family reservations made before 31 July and good until 15 August. Iberostar has also donated two free nights to medical professionals in the Dominican Republic booking stays at the hotel as part of its reopening program.
