
The Ministry of Foreign Relations announced receiving contributions from the People’s Republic of China, India, Qatar and Turkey to help combat Covid-19 in the Dominican Republic. China donated portable fans, surgical masks, disposable gloves, protective suits and sample collectors.
India donated medicines –Amoxicillin, Metronidazole, Paracetamol. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also sent gloves and shoe protectors.
From the Qatar Charity organization, surgical masks, protective visors, gloves, thermometers, alcohol, gel, surgical caps and protective suits were received, which were professionally coordinated by the team of Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
As part of Turkey’s contribution, three ventilators plus masks were delivered by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who came to be present for the inaugural of President Luis Abinader.
