The Abinader administration issued Decree 431-20 that calls for extending the curfew through 27 September 2020. The same executive act extends the National State of Emergency for 45 days, as of 3 September 2020. This is the seventh postponement of the National State of Emergency since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Curfew is Monday to Friday from 7pm to 5am and 5pm to 5am on Saturdays and Sundays. In the provinces of Espaillat, Peravia, Barahona, Monte Plata, Valverde, Hermanas Mirabal, Montecristi, Samana, Bahoruco, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Dajabon, Santiago Rodrigue, San Jose de Ocoa, Elias Piña, Independencia and Pedernales the curfew is one hour less, from 8pm to 5am Monday to Friday.
