The Customs Agency (DGA) announced the seizing of US$2,174,340 at the East Haina Port. The cash was hidden in two sound system speakers imported from Brooklyn, New York. The previous week, Customs agents seized US$2,174,750 camouflaged in other speakers declared as part of household wares. This shipment was also from Brooklyn, New York.
