The forecast is for rains

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) forecasts showers will continue nationwide through the weekend. The weather systems have also brought relief to the hot summer temperatures.

Onamet says that the humidity and instability will prevail, with on and off downpours forecast for most of the country. The 3 September forecast mentions the southeast, including Greater Santo Domingo, southwest and the Central Mountain Range will receive heavy rains.
