The Punta Cana area is gradually getting back to normal. The Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort announced it has honed the protocols for reopening its Casino Bávaro and its The Lakes Barceló Golf Course. These were among the few remaining facilities not to be open at the multi-hotel complex in central Punta Cana. Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort never closed when airports were shut down in March 2020.
