Dominican President Luis Abinader Corona will address the United National Assembly on Wednesday 23 September 2020, just a month and a few days after taking office. However, contrary to former years, President Abinader and other global leaders will participate in a virtual United Nations general assembly.
President Abinader will speak from the Presidential Palace at 5pm local time.
The 75th General Assembly began last week with the theme, “The Future That We Want; the United Nations that we Need: Reaffirming our Commitment to multilateralism – facing the Covid-19. “ Sessions are scheduled from 15-30 September.
