Evelop resumes Madrid-Punta Cana flights on 5 December

Evelop, the Barceló tourism group airline, announces the restarting of Madrid to Punta Cana flights on 5 December 2020. The airline is accepting bookings for the weekly Saturday flights through 3 January 2021.

Evelop is adding a Covid-19 medical insurance to cover health costs, in the case of falling ill with the virus in the Dominican Republic, and flight changes of their passengers. The insurance is valid through 3 January 2021 and also covers unlimited travel expenses, extension of hotel stays, funds advance and legal advice. The fare include one checked bag.

Flights to Punta Cana will have a land connection by bus to and from Santo Domingo, included free of charge within the ticket, for departures until 3 January 2021.

The service, according to the document, will be provided by Turavia, a ground transporter that also belongs to Avoris, the Evelop parent company. It will transport passengers from Punta Cana International Airport to the Dominican capital.

Evelop also announces plans to fly the route from 20 March 20 to 24 April 24 2021.

The airline clarifies that the resumption of operations is subject to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic and possible changes in countries’ restrictions.
