President Luis Abinader spoke at the closing of the 78th Council of Education Ministers of the Iberoamerican Organization for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) in the Dominican Republic. He spoke of the challenges ahead for education in the Dominican Republic and abroad in times of a pandemic.
During the meeting that gathered representatives of 23 Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal, Education Minister Roberto Furcal was elected as the temporary president through 2022.
