The Supreme Court of Justice of the Dominican Republic announces that it has digitalized 110 Judicial Bulletins and these are available on its website. The bulletins contain the rulings from 1910 to 2020. The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ), Luis Henry Molina Peña described the effort as a step forward for transparency in the Judicial Branch.
“Judgments cannot be hidden, difficult to find. The decisions of the Supreme Court have to be readily accessible to the legal profession and the community,” said the Chief Justice.
Molina Peña said that the searchable source will facilitate the work of judges. He said in addition to enabling faster justice, it is a step forward to eradicate judicial delinquency.
