Education Minister Roberto Fulcar announced on Sunday, 20 December 2020 he had tested positive for Covid-19. On Monday, the communications director of the Ministry of Education, Diulka Perez also announced she is positive. Both announcements were made on Twitter. Both officials say they are self-isolating at home.
