DR bets on technology to deter illegal crossings at Haiti border

Lately, there has been a sharp increase in cattle rustling, and the farmers along the border are in a state of outrage.

Foreign Minister Alvarez says the government policy will establish walls in some areas and in other areas a technological fence would be sufficient. That is why the Israeli company is currently at work in Montecristi.
