Inflation was 0.68% in February 2021

The Central Bank (BCRD) reports that the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was mainly on account of external factors. Accumulated inflation for January-February 2021 is at 1.66%. Interannual inflation associated with the new CPI basket showed annual inflation of 6.30% at the close of February

The BCRD explains points to the impact of the rise in the prices of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil and commodities in the international markets.
