The Santo Domingo Metro & Skylift Office (Opret) announced that the Santo Domingo Cable Car will be out of service from Saturday, 27 March until Sunday, 4 April 4, that is, during Easter Week. The skylift will undergo maintenance work on sections 1 and 2.
In a press release, Opret says that OMSA government bus service will be available at no additional cost for free transfers during the same hours of operation of the cable car.
Passengers from the Los Tres Brazos station (T2) will be transported to the Ercilia Pepín station of the Metro and vice versa, in OMSA buses, while those from the Sabana Perdida (T3) and Charles de Gaulle (T4) stations will be transported to the Rosa Duarte station of the SD Metro and vice versa, again in OMSA buses.
