
The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reports that rainfall nationwide will decrease as the trough moves on. The high-pressure system, nevertheless, will continue to bring scattered showers. Good weather is forecast for the north coast in general on Friday. Yet, by Saturday, a high-pressure system will bring sunny skies to most of the Caribbean
Due to a decrease in rainfall in several regions of the country, The National Meteorological Office (ONAMET) discontinues all weather alerts for possible flooding of rivers, streams, creeks, gullies and flash floods, as well as landslides.
Meanwhile, chilly weather prevails, with lows of 15-17C in Santiago, 16-18C in Puerto Plata, 20-22C in La Romana, Samana and Punta Cana. Montecristi will be chillier with lows of 18-20C. Constanza will be very cold, with 05-10C.
