
Neurosurgeon José Joaquín Puello called for all Dominicans to maintain the restrictive measures given the rising number of Covid-19 cases with complications. Dr. Puello is the Ciudad Sanitaria Luis Eduardo Aybar president, the largest public hospital center in the country.
“You have to be careful, because in addition to these new cases, one can be vaccinated and yet until one does not acquire full immunity one is not really protected,” the doctor tells the Dominican people in his message.
“When you are vaccinated and already have immunity in case one of the variants of the virus catches you, the complication is much less and generally people do not go to intensive care, that is why you have to continue with the restrictive measures”, the doctor advises.
