The Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will fund US$200 million for national budget support. The money will go towards health, social and economic issues created to mitigate the Covid-19 pandemic. There will be money to assist small businesses. Another part will go towards maintaining basic services and measures that will assist in the economic recovery.
The money will be disbursed over two years and repaid over 25 years.
