
The Dominican Embassy in Russia says the Russian Office for the Control of Covid has revoked all restrictions for direct regular and charter flights between Russia and the Dominican Republic. The Russian anti-coronavirus crisis center under Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced the measure is in effect starting from 27 August 2021.
The announcement benefits destinations such as Punta Cana, Samana, Puerto Plata. Russia had already authorized direct flights to the La Romana International Airport. Azur Air announced resuming flights from Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport three times a week, starting 9 August 2021.
