President Luis Abinader recognized the contributions made by Dominican businessman Felipe Vicini to sports in the Dominican Republic. President Abinader delivered a plaque to Vicini at the Presidential Palace and recognized the difference the Vicini-masterminded Creando Sueños Olimpicos (Creso) and Programa Olimpico Dominicano de Beisbol (Probeisbol) programs have had in the country’s winning five Olympic medals in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The program allocates funds for elite athletes in coordination with the Dominican Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports.
