The National Zoo in Santo Domingo invites to meet the newly born baby zebra (Subspecies Equus quagga boehmi). The species is also known as Grant’s zebra and is one of the smallest zebras. The Zoo is asking for help to name the baby zebra.
The sprawling National Zoo is located in northern Santo Domingo and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30am to 3pm. Tickets are RD$100 children up to 12 years and RD$150 those older than 12 years.
