Dozens of persons learned the hard way that people need to file e-tickets before traveling. The e-ticket has Covid-19 related information as well as the usual information included in the traditional migration forms.
The passengers seemed to be unaware that the airlines would not be boarding passengers that had not filed the documents online.
The e-ticket is relatively easy to fill out when using a computer. Travelers, nevertheless, complained of difficulties in filling out the e-ticket at the airport using their smartphones. Many lost their flights.
On Wednesday, 1 September 2021, the airlines would not board passengers that had not completed the new online requisite.
Migration had announced the need for the e-ticket months in advance. Yet, many travelers complained there was insufficient information in the media and they were unaware of the requirement.
The e-ticket is required both for outgoing as well as income travelers.
