
Jose Tomas Perez Gautreau, the son of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) politician and former Dominican ambassador to the United States, Jose Tomas Perez Perez, is on the Ministry of Foreign Relations payroll as an alternate at the South Africa Embassy.
Somos Pueblo reports that he collects around RD$800,000 a month since the start of the Abinader government in August 2020. Perez Gautreau has been employed in the government for the past eight years. He was first appointed by then President Danilo Medina.
Somos Pueblo reports his package abroad is US$3,000 salary, US$4,000 per diem and US$6,900 lodging allotment, for a monthly total of US$13,900.
