
For the fourth time in a row, Santiago judge Iris Borges rescheduled hearing the case against the first accused in the Operation Falcon drug and money laundering ring. The case was postponed and is scheduled to be heard on Monday, 27 September 2021. The hearing is for arraignment and deciding on coercive measures against 21 people that are charged in Operation Falcon. The prosecution has asked for 18 months of preventive custody and that the case be declared complex. The prosecution says that as the days go by more evidence is collected.
