Works of Candido Bidó are on exhibit at the Galeria Nacional de Bellas Artes at the Palace of Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo. Bidó died in 2011 of a heart attack and left a legacy of color and authenticity in his works. “Bidó, Always Present” is a retrospective of the life and works of the outstanding painter. For the retrospective, collectors and the Bidó family have shared the works. The exhibition is open through December. It can be viewed Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
