Effective 1 January 2022 export free zone workers will receive a 21% increase in their wages.
The Ministry of Labor, through the National Wages Committee (CNS), ordered the 21% increase in the national minimum wage for workers in the export processing zones sector.
The minimum wage for the free zone sector will now be RD$13,915.00.
