The first Christmas Nights event is taking place Thursday, 9 December at the Plaza España in the Colonial City. The Ministry of Culture organizes the event.
Artistic performances begin at 5pm with the participation of the Grupo Koribe, the National Folklore Ballet, and a percussion group made up by blind artists. Star singer Maridalia Hernandez and pianists Omar Ubri and Porfirio Mateo will also perform Christmas music.
This is the first of a comprehensive program of Christmas-related activities scheduled from 10 to 19 December 2021. The events are free to the general public.
