
President Luis Abinader appointed Teodora Mullix Geraldino the new governor of Samaná province. Her predecessor had been fired for making comments wishing no good to those that are unvaccinated for Covid-19. The appointment for the new government is in Decree 802-21.
At the time of her appointment, Mullix Geraldino was heading the finances department of the Comptroller General of the Republic Office.
Mullix Geraldino is an accounting graduate from Unapec. She has a post-graduate degree in tax administration from the state university (UASD).
Previously, she worked as area inspector for the National Lottery and internal auditor at Channel 4, the state radio and television network. She has worked as a finance manager in private business with a focus on auditing and tax matters.
