President Luis Abinader named Menni Lolin Cuevas Gonzalez as new consul in Haiti by Decree 803-21. He replaces Celilia Vidalia Rollins Tolentino. Cuevas González who had been serving in government as deputy director for the Development of the Southwest (Indesur) since being appointed on 8 September 2020.
The new Dominican consul in Haiti is an engineer and served as director of the Council for the Follow-up of the Presidential Administration in the Enriquillo Region.
He was also mayor of Tamayo, municipality of Bahoruco province.
