Two veteran journalists and political analysts, 73-year old Orlando Gil and 92-year old Mario Rivadulla passed away on Sunday, 7 February 2022. Gil died from cancer and Rivadulla from pneumonia, a side effect of Covid-19.
Gil for years wrote for the Listin Diario and Diario Libre and was a TV political analyst for “Oye Pais.”
Rivadulla, born in Cuba, settled in the Dominican Republic in the early 70s and was a columnist and editorial writer for Nacional, El Caribe and El Siglo.
