Deputy Minister of Public Health Eladio Perez says that parents can take their children to any vaccination station. The Sinovac vaccines are available now for children 5 through 11 years and older at more than 1,300 vaccination stations nationwide.
The Ministry of Public Health is also opening vaccination centers at leading public and private schools nationwide starting Monday, 14 February 2022. The ministry seeks to vaccinate upwards of one million children of 11 years or less against the Covid-19 virus.
Dr. Eladio Perez said the government is vaccinating with the Chinese-made Sinovac-Coronavac vaccine. The records show no adverse effects to the vaccine in this country.
The vaccination phase for young children is already open at all the vaccination centers since 7 February 2022.
