Dominican violinist Aisha Syed is booked for a presentation at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D. Con on 24 February at 7:30pm.
Dominican Ambassador to the United States, Sonia Guzmán explains that the performance is part of celebrations organized by the Dominican Embassy in the United States for Dominican Independence Day. Independence Day falls on 27 February 2022.
On the program for the evening are works by Dominican and Latin American composers – Rafael Solano, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel. Also works by composers Bach, Bernstein and Paganini.
Syed will be accompanied by pianist Martin Lavazevitch.
