The Ministry of Education has been making headlines since the first days of Education Minister Roberto Furcal. Now Diario Libre reports that several professors say they won positions in the recent teacher’s hiring competition and yet have been left out to favor persons related to the ruling political party. Furcal is a high ranking member of the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). He was also the 2020 presidential campaign director for today President Luis Abinader.
