The Center for Emergency Operations has placed Greater Santo Domingo and several provinces under green alert for heavy rains with the passing to the north of Tropical Storm Earl. Limited flash floods and mudslides are possible.
The COE increased to 15 the number of provinces on green alert for possible flooding of rivers, streams and creeks, and urban flooding. The weather is under the indirect effects of Tropical Storm Earl, and a passing trough, which will generate cloud increases, followed by downpours.

The population is advised to refrain from crossing rivers, streams or creeks with high volumes of water.
