The Dominican Republic continues to lead in the Norceca Final Six Pan American Cup. The Dominican senior women’s team (Las Reinas del Caribe) defeated Puerto Rico on Tuesday, 6 September 2022, in straight sets (25-11, 25-22 and 25-17).
Brayelin Martinez, Yonkaira Peña and Gaila Gonzalez were the best scorers for the Dominican Republic. The DR has already defeated Cuba and Mexico. The Dominican Republic is the event’s defending champion.
