The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) has launched international public tenders for the contracting of a geochemical and geophysical studies.
In regards to the geochemical study in terrestrial sedimentary basins and places with natural emanations in the Dominican Republic, the Ministry explains that the interested parties, both local and international firms, must have technical experience and be able to perform the required service, to carry out this study with a focus on hydrocarbon exploration.
The objective of the Dominican State is to obtain geochemical information on the Dominican terrestrial sedimentary basins, which will support future competitive processes for assigning areas for oil and gas exploration in the Dominican Republic.
The Ministry of Energy and Mines is also looking for a contract for a geophysical study for the acquisition, processing and interpretation of new high definition 2D seismic line data, offshore Dominican waters.
