The Fundación Laso is preparing its Red Gala to raise awareness about loving care for pets and to motivate contributions for blood donations. The Red Gala will take place on Thursday, 17 November at the Fray Antonio de Montesino Monument. The fundraiser is in its second year.
Those attending are invited to come in formal attire but with their pets. Women are encouraged to wear red, men black attire.
In addition to promoting that people donate blood, the foundation has worked with the rescue of animals and the promotion of sports and reading in children.
The evening includes a gala dinner prepared by Dominican chef Ana Lebrón who won the gold medal at the Culinary Art Exhibition in the world in Germany in 2020.
