The weather forecast is good for this Christmas 2022. The days will warm up, but expect chilly evenings and lows in the early mornings. In an interview for Despertar Nacional, weather expert Jean Suriel explained that this is the coldest Christmas and New Year season in many years. Polar temperatures to the north are moving south, keeping the weather in the Dominican Republic very pleasant.
There will be highs of 29/30C in urban areas, and regular lows of 5/11C in mountain areas. There will be pockets of below zero temperatures in mountain areas, too.
