
The Presidency announced the approval of an air transport services agreement with Uruguay. The agreement had been signed in Santo Domingo on 12 November 2018.
Dated 30 December 2022, the Presidency issued Resolution 374-22, approved by the National Congress, to be published in the Official Gazette for public knowledge and implementation.
The agreement recognizes the parties’ rights to fly over the territory of the other contracting party and make stopovers for non-commercial purposes in each territory. Likewise, it recognizes the right to provide scheduled and non-scheduled, combined passenger and cargo or cargo-only services between the territories of the parties and between the territory of the contracting party and any third country, through its own territory.
