Diario Libre reports that forest rangers will get a 50% wage increase this January 2023.
Environmentalist reporter Marvin Cid revealed that Minister of Environment Miguel Ceara Hatton approved the 50% increase to benefit 956 forest rangers during a recent meeting. The wages will increase from RD$10,000 to RD$15,000, but discounts will be applied for medical insurance and other matters.
