The Public Trust Bill and the amendments to the Electoral Regime Law 15-19 need to be submitted again to Congress after the regular session closed on Thursday, 12 January without the passing of the bills. The Central Electoral Board (JCE) urges the passing of the bill in time for the organization of the 2024 general elections.
There also was no time to pass the controversial Public Trust Bill. The Presidency will need to resend the bill to Congress.
