The Dominican Association of Hotels and Tourism (Asonahores) announces DATE 2023 will be held in Punta Cana from 26 to 28 April 2023. This event is the lead hotel and tourism business booking event for the Dominican travel industry. It will take place at the Barcelo Bavaro Convention Center in Punta Cana. A Dominican Night is scheduled at the new Katmandu Theme Park in Punta Cana for 27 April.
The Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) is the leading event for the marking of the Dominican Republic´s tourism product. Since 1999, it has been held annually to match travel agents, tour operators, specialized groups, with the main travel providers of the national tourism sector. Foreign buyers and local suppliers also meet in international travel fairs, but DATE is an opportunity for the buyers to experience the product for themselves.
