Noticias SIN published last week details on the special jail where the police agent, Alejandro Castro Cruz, accused of firing the shots that killed an 11-year old child Donelly Martinez on a Carnival Sunday in Santiago will be awaiting trial. The corporal is criticized for violating Police protocols when on patrol in large gatherings.
The decision of the court to send the policeman to the special jail has caused outrage in many that fear higher ups in the ranks are protecting him.
