A 123-year-old Dominican is the oldest living man in the world, according to an interview conducted by community leader Fausto Santos at the clinic of Dr. Jiminián de la Cruz in Santo Domingo.
Fermín Castillo Reyes currently lives in Sabana Perdida, Barrio Nuevo de Santo Domingo and has been a farmer all his life. He is a native of Villa Altagracia.
The long-lived man says he is not well, but is in good spirits.
Fermin Castillo Reyes showed his identity card to prove that he was born on 1 January 1900.
