Arajet asks for four more direct destinations in South America and to fly from Santiago to Colombia

Arajet is applying to fly non-stop to Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The Dominican-based low-cost airline, Arajet has requested Civil Aviation Board (JAC) permission to fly several more routes to South American destinations.

The frequencies sought are:
Santo Domingo/Buenos Aires, Argentina/Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo/Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo/Montevideo, Uruguay/Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo/Chile/Santo Domingo

These will be the first non-stop flights to these destinations in South America from Santo Domingo’s Las Americas International Airport (SDQ), the base for Arajet operations.

Arajet is also requesting permission to fly
Santiago/ Bogotá, Colombia/ Santiago
Santiago/ Medellín, Colombia/ Santiago

Colombia flights from Santo Domingo have been an all-around success. Colombia is now the third destination for Dominican travelers, after the United States and Canada.

Arajet already flies direct to:
Mexico City and Cancún (Mexico), Guatemala City, Guatemala; San Salvador, El Salvador; Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador; Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellín, Cali and Bogotá, Colombia, Costa Rica; Kingston, Jamaica; St. Martin; Aruba; Curacao; Caracas, Venezuela.

Arajet has also applied to the US government Department of Transportation (DOT) to launch routes to the United States.
