Minister of Higher Education Franklin García Fermín and the Deputy Minister of Digital Agenda of the Ministry of the Presidency, José David Montilla are leading the effort.

Deputy Minister Montilla explained that the Single Educational Record is simplifying procedures and providing new interoperability and digital signatures, so that students and graduates can find all the documentation on their academic record, certificates and degrees in one place.
