President Luis Abinader attends expansion Casa de Campo

President Luis Abinader was in La Romana to again support the tourism business development. “It is by creating more jobs that a country, at all levels, can truly have social and economic development,” said President Abinader, the Presidency reports.

“It is a fact that we are supporting and will continue to support this type of project that helps at all levels, helps the development of the Casa de Campo company, the Central Romana, which has been a development that for many years has brought benefits to La Romana, to the country,” said the President.

Tourism Minister David Collado emphasized that the Dominican Republic is an example of how to carry out the alliance between the public and private sectors.

He said that the government celebrates the new facility in Casa de Campo, a US$90 million expansion that adds 64 rooms that are being marketed as The Premier Club. The new suite rooms overlook the golf course and are equipped with the latest technology and amenities. The spa center has all the facilities and world-class amenities. The expansion includes a presidential suite.

The president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Andrés Pichardo valued the efforts made by the government to continue positioning Dominican tourism in the world.

Pichardo said the new rooms meet the demands of the most demanding visitors, and continue to position Casa de Campo as a benchmark tourist destination.
