Fake neuroscientist has only a high school degree, her grades weren’t enough to get into community college

30-year old Elizabeth Silverio is on a media tour to promote herself as an expert in education for autism. Investigative journalist Nuria Piera has released new evidence on the woman. Piera produced evidence last month that Silverio has no higher learning academic preparation and is more of a scam artist than a self-made expert on the subject.

The follow up Nuria Piera Investigación program aired on Saturday, 17 June 2023. Piera provided evidence that Silverio is not a citizen of Antigua & Barbuda, as Silverio had claimed.

Piera also provided evidence that Silverio does not have a university degree even from that island. On the contrary, a local education department authority said that Silverio graduated from high school at 18 yet did not pass the test to continue on to pre-university studies on the island.

Her grades were not good enough to even get into community college in Antigua. She only passed Spanish and a subject on using digital tools. The Antigua officer said that Silverio did not qualify for Antigua citizenship either she had lived abroad too many years.

In Santo Domingo, Silverio owned and directed Kogland, a large center for autistic children.

For years, Silverio pretended to be a neuroscience doctor and filled her office with titles from the University of Florida and the University of West Indies and University of Cambridge in the UK. Her talk was so eloquent, she even served as advisor on the recently passed Autism Care Law in the Dominican Congress.

Piera complained that local prosecutors have failed to act against the woman. The Ministry of Public Health closed the center after requesting Silverio present documentation to back a requested reopening. Silverio is requesting permission to open her center for a summer camp for children with autism.

Silverio is on a media tour. She defends herself saying she is the administrator and creator of the programs, while now denying she consults with patients because she has staff that is duly accredited. She has presented a legal translation as her proof the academic titles are legitimate.

One influencer program, “Esto No es Radio”, let Silverio sell herself for around an hour, only to have to air two more programs with evidence the woman is a fraud.
