Femicides too frequently happen in the Dominican Republic. But this week, the story of a father who shot his 14-year old daughter and then shot himself in his vehicle is out of the normal and is heartbreaking. As reported, the girl’s mother lived abroad and the girl lived with an aunt. The media also has reported the father had drinking problems.
