Two companies, Globus (HID Global USA) and Nara (the French government printing company) that bid for the contract to issue Dominican Republic passports are awaiting the opinion of Carlos Pimentel and the Procurement Agency regarding recent passport contracting procedures, Diario Libre reports.
The Procurement Agency has yet to respond to the legally deposited request for a review of the procedures that resulted in the contracting of Transneg SRL and Midas Dominicana.
