El Caribe has published a list of men who are leading the reelection campaign of President Luis Abinader. The list includes several cabinet and government agency officials. It does not include Roberto Furcal, the former Minister of Education, who was Abinader’s campaign manager in the 2020 presidential election. Furcal recently announced he will be assisting ruling PRM party politicians in their campaigns.
The mentioned members of the reelection team are:
Jose Ignacio Paliza, Administrative Minister of the Presidency.
Wellington Arnaud, director of the National Potable Water and Sewage Institute (Inapa)
Eduardo (Yayo) Sanz Lovatón, director of the Customs Agency
Samuel Pereyra, general manager of the BanReservas government bank
Deligne Ascención, Minister of Public Works
Victor (Ito) Bisonó, Minister of Industry & Commerce
Luis Valdez, director of the Tax Agency
Santiago Hazim, director of the government’s Senasa health plan
Roberto Angel Salcedo, director of the Special Projects Agency of the Presidency
